An absolute must-have for Mexican, Indian, Thai, and countless other global cuisines!
1. Starting Outdoors
Cilantro does not transplant well due to its taproot. Direct sow seeds outdoors after the last frost.
2. Germination
Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep. Keep the soil mildly moist. Germination typically occurs in 7-14 days at 55-70Β°F.
3. Thinning
Thin seedlings to 4-6 inches apart to allow for proper airflow.
4. Care
Water consistently. Cilantro grows rapidly. To ensure a continuous harvest, sow a new batch of seeds every 2-3 weeks.
5. Harvesting
Snip leaves once the plant is 6 inches tall. For coriander, wait until the flowers turn to seed and dry brown.
