Add a touch of snowy white to your spring salads! Hailstone Radishes (also known as White Globe) produce perfectly round, golf-ball-sized radishes with stunningly pure white skins and crisp, solid flesh.
These pure, untreated seeds are incredibly reliable and fast-maturing. Unlike some red varieties, Hailstone radishes hold their crispness well and are slow to become pithy or spongy. They offer a delightful, mild radish 'bite' that is perfect for fresh eating.

1. Seed Starting
Direct sow seeds 1/2 inch deep in early spring or late summer. Radishes love cool weather.
2. Germination
Keep soil moist. Sprouts appear very rapidly, usually within 4-7 days.
3. Thinning
Thin to 2 inches apart to give the round roots space to plump up.
4. Care & Feeding
Water consistently. Uneven watering can cause the roots to split.
5. The Harvest
Harvest when the roots are about the size of a large marble to a golf ball (1-1.5 inches)!
